Water sampling
Careful sampling is a prerequisite for a meaningful result:

Variant 1: Order sampling set free of charge
To ensure the best analysis quality, we will gladly send you sterile sample containers with sampling instructions. With the sampling set you will receive the order form.

The sampling set is the property of Raiffeisen-Laborservice. The costs for not or incompletely returned sets will be charged 3 months after delivery date with 11,50 € per set.
Variant 2: Use your own sample containers
Alternatively, you can use your own sterile sample containers. In this case, please fill out the following order form and send it to us together with the sample.
Order form water sample
Sampling instructions chemical analysis (blue container)
- Check your data on the order form (important: e-mail address!)
- If possible, carry out sampling on Mondays or Tuesdays - the water should be allowed to stand in the pipes for at least 4 hours
- Label the sample bottle with your name and, if applicable, the sampling site
- The container should be filled from one sampling point only (do not mix from more than one point)
- Fill the sample bottle to the edge with cold water
- Shipment on the day of sampling if possible
- The blue container only needs to be refrigerated if oxygen testing is desired
- Enclose completed order form
- Stamp the package and send it off
Well water:
Let water run for a few minutes before sampling and do not fill via a garden hose!
Drinking water:
Do not draw water directly from the drinking trough, but from a draw-off tap near the trough.
Pond or Pool Water:
Take the sample approx. 30 cm below the surface.
If oxygen testing is desired:
Store the sample in the refrigerator (2 - 4 °C) until shipment.
Sampling instructions Bacteria test (green container)
- Check your data on the order form (important: e-mail address!)
- Fill in the order form (purpose of use, withdrawal date and time, signature).
- Perform the sampling on Mondays or Tuesdays
- Freeze the cold pack at least one day before sampling
- Wash hands!
- Remove (if present) the aerator and rubber seals.
- Now let the water run for 2-3 minutes
- Disinfect the outlet!
- Either by flaming with a storm lighter / Bunsen burner.
- or by spraying thoroughly with a disinfectant (e.g. ethanol) - wipe the outside of the tap with a paper towel
- Open and close the tap 3 times to rinse off excess disinfectant
- Fill the container without overflowing and close it immediately
- Do not touch the screw thread and the inside of the lid!
- Store sample in the refrigerator (2 - 4 °C) until shipment
- Perform shipment on the day of sampling if possible
- Pack the container together with the cold pack in the insulating bag
- Enclose completed order form
- Stamp the package and send it off
Drinking water:
Do not draw water directly from the drinker basin, but from a draw-off tap near the drinker.
Pond or pool water:
Take the sample approximately 30 cm below the surface.
Sampling instructions Legionella test (yellow container)
- Check your data on the order form (important: e-mail address!)
- Perform the sampling on Mondays or Tuesdays
- Freeze the cold pack at least one day before sampling
- Collect the sample preferably in your shower, bathtub or other fixture with a hot water connection
- Wash hands!
- Set the faucet to the highest temperature
- Let the water run for about 5 seconds with the highest water pressure
- Fill the container without overflowing and close it immediately
- Do not touch the screw thread and the inside of the lid!
- Store sample in the refrigerator (2 - 4 °C) until shipment
- Perform shipment on the day of sampling if possible
- Pack the container together with the cold pack in the insulating bag
- Enclose completed order form
- Stamp the package and send it off
Whirlpool:
Take the sample about 30 cm below the surface
Shipping costs:
We have covered the shipping costs for the empty sampling kit. The postage for returning the sample to the laboratory has to be paid by the customer. We will not accept sampling kits sent freight collect.

Legal:
The analysis result is for your personal information only. It cannot be used for the health department, expert evidence as well as legal disputes. Complaints will only be accepted within a period of two weeks after the announcement of the analysis result.
